CLINICAL APPLICATION OF IN VITRO FERTILIZATION FORINFERTILITY: ANALYSIS OF 50 OOCYTE RETRIEAL CYCLES

  • Aim: The impact of type of in fertility, protocol of ovarian stimulation and culture method on the procedure of in vitro fertilization. Methods: 21 out of 44 cases were patients with primary in fertility, 23 cases with secondary infertility. The protocol of ovarian stimulation was protocol without GnRHa or blocking protocoI with GnRHa. Embryos were cultured in Earle's medium. Results: 45 cycles out of total 50 cycles were completed. 13 cases got pregnancy and total clinical pregnancy rate per transfer was 29%. Clinical pregnancy rate per case for primary in fertility group was 14. 29%, 43. 48% for sec-ondary infertility group. Blocking protocol with GnRHa and protocol without GnRHa for twarian stimulation were compared. There were no statistical significence in duration and amount of gonadotropins. Conclusions: Pregnancy rate of IVF with pri-mary infertility group was much less than that with secondary in fertility group. The outcome of IVF may be improved through selecting proper culture method and stimulating protocol.
