APPLICATION OF ALBERTS SINGLEROW SUTUING IN THE OPERATION OF 1 004 PATIENS WITH CARDIAC CARCINOMA

  • Objective:In order to study the anastomosing technique of esophagogastroanastomosis(esophagojejunostomy)and to reduce the occurrence of the fistula, stenosis and reflux after resection of the cardiac carcinoma. Methods:From June 1981 to December 1998,with the Albert's method of singlerow suturing.1 004 cases of the reconstruction of the digestive tract were done including 899 cases of end-to -side esophagogastroanastomosis and 95 cases of end-to-side esophagojeunostomy plus side-to-side jejunojenunal anastomosis. Results:There was no anastomosis fistula or no operative mortality in this total cases.Conclunion:As its simple procedure, abundant blood supply, less residue of the excision edge and lower rate of the fistula, stenosis and reflux, this method is of significantly clinical value.
