REPORT OF 118 CASES OF PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA TREATED WITH TRANSURETHRAL ELECTROSECTION OF PROSTATE

  • 118 cases of prostatic hyperplasia were treated with transurethra1 electrosection of prostate. The patients' postoperative uroflow ratio, residual urinometry, International prostate symptom score (IPSS), life standard score were quite different from those of preoperation (P 0.01 ). 42 cases were followed up and the effective rate was 100%. The author thinks that the transurethral electrosection of prostate is safe, eutherapeutic, less painful and quick to recover.
