VIDEO-ASSISTED THORACOSCOPIC SURGERY-A REPORT OF FIVE CASES

  • Since June l996,pneumonectomy of five cases have been performed including right up-per pulmonary lobectomy,right low glomectmy of pulmonary tuberculosis,right middle lobe wedge resec-tion of inflamma-tory pseudotumor,mudtiple bullae of lung resection and single bullac of lung resection ofpneumatothorax. The results were all satisfactory and the recovery was quite good. There were no corppli-cations. The method of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery and its indication were also introduced. Themanagement of some problems during operation was discussed.
