Application of multi-dimensional collaborative continuous nursing in children with nephrotic syndrome

  • Objective To observe the application effect of multi-dimensional collaborative continuous nursing model in children with nephrotic syndrome.
Methods A total of 110 children with nephrotic syndrome were selected and randomly divided into control group (n=54) and study group (n=56). The control group received routine intervention, and the study group received multi-dimensional collaborative continuous nursing intervention. Inventory of Subjective Life Quality (ISLQ) and Children's Self-esteem Scale (CSES) were used to evaluate the quality of life and self-esteem level of the two groups before and after intervention; the compliance behavior and prognosis of the two groups were compared.
Results After intervention, the emotional level, cognitive level and overall level scores of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The rate of taking medicine compliance and the rate of follow-up visits in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of physical activity, ability as well as sense of achievement and total score in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The recurrence rate of the study group was 12.50%, which was significantly lower than 29.63% of the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion The application of multi-dimensional collaborative continuous nursing model in children with nephrotic syndrome can improve their compliance behavior, self-esteem level and quality of life, and reduce the recurrence rate of children.
