Effect of Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction combined with rebamipide on efficacy of gastric ulcer and gastric mucosa protein

  • Objective To explore the effect of Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction combined with rebamipide in the treatment of gastric ulcer with disharmony between spleen and stomach type and its impact on the level of gastric mucosal protein.
Methods A total of 130 gastric ulcer with disharmony between spleen and stomach type admitted from January to December 2022 were selected as study objects, and were divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 65 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with ribapet, and patients in the study group were treated with Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated continuously for 6 weeks. The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated. The TCM syndrome score and ulcer healing before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. The levels of gastrin-17(G-17), pepsinogen Ⅰ(PG Ⅰ), pepsinogen Ⅱ(PG Ⅱ) and PG Ⅰ-to-PG Ⅱ ratio(PGⅠ/PGⅡ) in the two groups were compared before and after treatment.
Results The Helicobacter pylori eradication rate and overall effective rate of patients in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05). After treatment, the symptom score, histological observation score of ulcer healing, G-17 level, PG Ⅰ level, PG Ⅱ level and PG Ⅰ/PG Ⅱ in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and were significantly lower in the study group than those in the control group(P < 0.05). Dizziness occurred in 2 cases in the study group and 1 case in the control group. There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P=0.559).
Conclusion Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction combined with rebapide has high efficacy and safety in the treatment of gastric ulcer with disharmony between spleen and stomach type, which can effectively improve the TCM symptoms of patients, regulate the level of gastric mucosal protein, and accelerate the healing of gastric mucosa.
