Consensus of experts and technical operation guideline on clinical application of copper ion electrochemistry combined with closed and open resection of external hemorrhoids technology (CORE technology) in treatment of mixed hemorrhoids (2022)

  • Copper ion electrochemistry combined with closed and open resection of external hemorrhoids (CORE technology) is a reliable minimally invasive surgical method for the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids, but there is still a lack of clinical application guidelines at home and abroad. Joint Conference of Senior Expert Guidance of Association of Beijing Colon-Proctology organized the validation experts and clinical application identification experts in this field to put forward suggestions on the clinical application indications, contraindications, possible intraoperative and postoperative problems and prevention strategies of CORE technology as well as the standardization of operation processes of CORE technology on the basis of a large number of clinical practices, summaries and relevant literatures of clinical doctors in order to promote and apply CORE technology more safely.
