Research progress of natural orifice specimen extraction surgery in colorectal cancer

  • Natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES) can avoid abdominal wall assisted incision and has the advantages of faster postoperative recovery, less postoperative pain, aesthetic appearance and fewer postoperative complications. At present, this technique has been widely used in the surgical treatment of colorectal cancer patients. This article reviewed the NOSES related concepts, operation, actuality and limitations in order to provide reference for clinical application.
