Analysis of the relationships between CD62p, CD63 as well as platelet activating factor expression and clinical prognosis in patients with acute ischemic cerebral infarction

  •   Objective  To investigate the relationships between CD62p, CD63 as well as platelet activating factor (PAF) expression and clinical prognosis in patients with acute ischemic cerebral infarction (AICI).
Methods  Two hundred AICI patients treated in our hospital were selected as observation group, and they were divided into good prognosis group (175 cases) and poor prognosis group (25 cases) according to their prognosis. According to the survival within 90 days after discharge, the observation group was divided into death group (n=32) and survival group(n=168). Fifty healthy people were selected as the control group. The correlations between CD62p, CD63, PAF and prognosis of patients was analyzed.
Results  The levels of CD62p, CD63 and PAF in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The levels of CD62p, CD63 and PAF in patients with cerebral infarction in the death group were significantly higher than those in the survival group (P < 0.05). The levels of CD62p, CD63 and PAF in patients with cerebral infarction in the poor prognosis group were significantly higher than those in the good prognosis group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion  The expression levels of CD62p, CD63 and PAF increase in AICI patients, and detection of these three indicators is helpful to evaluate the clinical prognosis of patients.
