Research progress in animal model construction of Graves disease

  • Graves disease (GD) is an organ-specific autoimmune disease. At present, there are many difficulties in the treatment of GD, including the long course of drug treatment, high recurrence rate and low remission rate. GD animal model is an important tool to study the etiology, pathogenesis and prevention of GD. In recent years, a variety of effective modeling methods have been developed by changing modeling materials, changing administration routes, time and frequency, and adjusting the strain of modeling animals. In this paper, the status quo and research progress of GD model construction were reviewed.
