Influence of early rehabilitation pathway on recovery process and Harris scores of hip replacement patients

  • Objective To explore the application effect of early rehabilitation pathway on postoperative recovery of hip replacement patients. Methods A total of 90 patients who were successfully treated by hip replacement were selected as study objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given routine orthopedic rehabilitation nursing, and the study group was given early rehabilitation pathway function training on the basis of routine rehabilitation nursing. The bed-off time, the time of hospitalization and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. At the same time, Harris scores was used to evaluate the recovery of hip joint function in the two groups. Results The bed-off time and hospital stay in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, and the complication rate was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). The item score of deformity, pain, joint activity, functional activity and total Harris scores one month after operation in the two groups were significantly higher than those before operation(P<0.05), and the above scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Early rehabilitation pathway function training is helpful to promote early recovery and reduce the incidence of complications of hip replacement patients, and accelerate the rehabilitation of hip joint function.
