Clinical effect of halopethiazide and melitracen tablets in treatment of gastric ulcer patients with depression

  • Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of halopethiazide and melitracen tablets in the treatment of gastric ulcer patients with depression. Methods A total of 130 patients with gastric ulcer and depression were randomly divided into routine group and study group, with 65 cases in each group. The routine group was treated with symptomatic support treatment, while the study group was treated with halopethiazide and melitracen tablets. The clinical efficacy, score of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)before and after treatment and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the study group was significantly higher than that of the routine group(P<0.05). After treatment, the HAMD scores of the two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment, and the HAMD score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the routine group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Symptomatic supportive treatment combined with haloperidazone and melitracen tablets can further improve the clinical efficacy and alleviate depressive symptoms in patients with gastric ulcer and depression without increasing incidence of adverse reactions.
