Measures of prevention and control for novel coronavirus pneumonia in nurses of emergency transfusion room

Our hospital is the largest Grade Three and Class A hospital in Yangzhou City of Jiangsu Province. Emergency transfusion room is the important and difficult area for prevention and control of novel coronavirus pneumonia(NCP). During the epidemic period, staffs in emergency transfusion room formulate and take a series of preventive and control measures, including the establishment of group for prevention and control of NCP in emergency transfusion room, formulation of preventive and control system as well as procedures and contingency plans, learning and training of knowledge for prevention and control of NCP, control of infection source, strict disinfection and isolation, and protection of susceptible populations. The Medical Services Section, Nursing Department, Out-patient Department and Information Department in our hospital actively take multiple department assisted and joint preventive and control mechanism to make a good job in the protection for NCP in emergency transfusion room, ensure the normal function of emergency transfusion room and prevent the incidence of NCP.
