Effect of systematic nursing in prevention of lowerextremity deep venous thrombosis after gynecological and obstetric operations

  •   Objective  To study the nursing effect of systematic nursing intervention in prevention of deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs in patients after gynecological and obstetric operations.
Methods  A total of 260 patients undergoing obstetric and gynecological surgeries were randomly divided into control group (n=130) and observation group (n=130), given routine nursing measures, and systematic nursing measures based on routine nursing, respectively. Clinical nursing effects of the two groups were observed.
Results  The incidences of deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in the observation group were lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).
Conclusion  Systematic nursing measures can reduce the incidence of postoperative deep venous thrombosis in lower extremity patients undergoing gynecologic and obstetric surgeries, shorten the hospital stay, and promote their recovery.
