Influence of comfortable nursing intervention on pain and stress reactions for patients after cesarean section

  •   Objective  To explore the influence of comfortable nursing intervention on pain and stress of patients after cesarean section.
Methods  A total of 80 pregnant women who received cesarean section in our hospital were selected as study subjects, and were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method. The patients in the observation group(n=40) received comfortable nursing after operation, while those in the control group(n=40) received routine nursing after operation. The pain, anxiety and stress reaction, nursing satisfaction and incidence of complications of the two groups before and after intervention were compared.
Results  Before intervention, there were no significant differences in Self-rating Anxiety Score(SAS) score, Visual Anlogue Scale(VAS) scores, and Cortisol(Cor) level between the two groups (P > 0.05); after intervention, the SAS scores, Cor level and VAS scores of the two groups were significantly reduced, and the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher, and the incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion  Nursing intervention of cesarean section can effectively relieve the pain, reduce the postoperative stress reaction, alleviate the anxiety of patients, improve nursing satisfaction, and promote the recovery of patients.
