Application value of high-frequency ultrasound diagnosis in patients with cervical musculoskeletal injury after physical exercise

  •   Objective  To investigate the application value of high-frequency ultrasound diagnosis in patients with cervical musculoskeletal injury after physical exercise.
Methods  Totally 60 patients with cervical musculoskeletal injury after physical exercise were conducted with high-frequency ultrasound diagnosis and CT diagnosis successively. Efficiency of the two diagnosis methods and acceptance rate of physicians to diagnosis technology were compared.
Results  In terms of diagnostic muscle injury, skeletal injury and nerve injury, the high-frequency ultrasound was significantly higher than that of CT diagnosis (P < 0.05), but there were no significant differences in the accuracy in vascular injury and muscle infection between high-frequency ultrasound and CT (P>0.05). In terms of practicability and accuracy, high-frequency ultrasound diagnosis was significantly higher than CT diagnosis (P < 0.05), but there were no significant differences in economy and safety score between high-frequency ultrasound and CT diagnosis (P>0.05).
Conclusion  In the diagnosis of cervical musculoskeletal injury after physical exercise, high-frequency ultrasonography is effective, accurate and safe.
