Objective To explore the efficiency of continuous flushing and drainage combined with comprehensive nursing measures in treatment of patients with infection after flap transplantation.
Methods Twenty patients with infection after flap transplantation were selected and treated with debridement, and they were divided into experimental group (n=11) and control group (n=9). The experimental group was treated with continuous flushing, drainage and comprehensive nursing mode, while the control group was treated with routine dressing change and nursing mode. The antibiotic use time, extubation time, hospitalization time and patient satisfaction degree were compared between the two groups.
Results Pre-discharge infection was controlled in 20 patients with flap transplantation. There were significant differences in hospitalization time, antibiotic use time, extubation time and satisfaction degree between the two groups (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Continuous flushing and drainage combined with comprehensive nursing can significantly improve the infection status of infected patients after skin flap transplantation, reduce the dosage of antibiotics, shorten the treatment cycle of patients, and improve satisfaction degree.
