Postural nursing in patients with complex ureteral calculus surgery

  •   Objective  To evaluate the value of postural nursing in patients undergoing complex ureteral calculus surgery.
Methods  A total of 90 patients with complicated ureteral calculi surgery, patients were randomly divided into control group (n=45) and observation group (n=45), given routine nursing, postural nursing based on routine nursing, respectively. Surgery condition, postoperative effect, the degree of pain and nursing satisfaction of two groups were compared.
Results  The operative time, intraoperative blood loss and pain VAS score of patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05). The success rate of one-time puncture in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (93.33% vs. 75.56%, P < 0.05), and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group (97.78% vs. 82.22%, P < 0.05). The success rate of lithotripsy in the observation group was 100.00%, and 95.56% in the control group, no significant difference was observed(P>0.05).
Conclusion  The postural nursing for complex ureteral calculi surgery patients is conducive for intraoperative lithotripsy.
