Analgesic effect of continuous femoral nerve blockage combined with infiltration anesthesia on treatment of patients with total knee arthroplasty

  • Objective To explore analgesic effect of continuous femoral nerve blockage combined with infiltration anesthesia in patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods A total of 80 patients with total knee arthroplasty were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Patients in control group were treated with continuous femoral nerve blockage, and patients in experimental group were given continuous femoral nerve blockage and infiltration anesthesia.Analgesic effect and recovery time were compared. Results The static and dynamic VAS scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 8,12,24,48 hours (P < 0.05).Spontaneous breathing recovery time,ICU stay time and ICU off time in the experimental group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The combination of continuous femoral nerve blockage and infiltration anesthesia is effective in treatment of patients with total knee arthroplasty.
