Efficacy of fangji huangqi decoction in treatment of patients with primary nephrotic syndrome in edema period and its influence on 24 h urinary protein,serum albumin and blood lipid

  • Objective To explore the efficacy of fangji huangqi decoction in treatment of patients with primary nephrotic syndrome in edema period and its influence on 24 h urinary protein,serum albumin and blood lipids.Methods A total of 80 patients with primary nephrotic syndrome in edema period were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the observation group was given fangji huangqi decoction on the basis of control group.Efficacy,changes of 24 h urinary protein,serum albumin and blood lipids were compared between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 90.00%,which was significantly higher than 80.00% of the control group (P < 0.05).After treatment,the Pt and ALB in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and 24h urine protein quantitation,TG and Chol levels decreased significantly (P < 0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of patients with primary nephrotic syndrome in edema period,fangji huangqi decoction can alleviate clinical symptoms,increase the level of plasma albumin and reduce urinary protein.
