Evaluation of nursing intervention for the patients with diabetic foot

  • Objective To investigate experience of nursing intervention in patients with diabetic foot.Methods 46 diabetic foot patients were randomly divided into intervention group and control group.23 patients in the control group received standard nursing received conventional nursing while 23 patients in the intervention group received comprehensive nursing intervention. Nursing effect was observed in the two groups.Results The number of patients with diabetic foot after nursing intervention was more than that in the control group.There were 16 patients cured and 4 patients amputated due to serious infection and 3 patients failed to heal due to economic rea-sons,the result revealed that the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Diabetic foot patients received effective nursing intervention can significantly improve the efficacy and reduce the incidence of complications.
