Differential diagnosis between gallbladder polypoid lesions and gallbladder benign tumor

  • Objective To explore the differential diagnosis between gallbladder polypoid le-sions and gallbladder benign tumor. Methods 156 patients with gallbladder polypoid lesions were examined through the different imaging method, and the results were compare with the pathological findings. Results Compared with the pathological diagnosis, the ultrasound imaging (χ2=0.188, P >0.188),enhanced CT (χ2= 2.308,P >0.05)and MRI (χ2=7.505,P >7.505)showed no significant differences in detection rate.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound was significantly better than enhanced CT (χ2=4.769,P <4.769)and MRI (χ2=14.467,P <0.05).Conclusion Contrast-enhanced ultrasound can carefully reflect the gallbladder polypoid lesions of peripheral vascular and morphological characteristics.Because its highest detection rate,it is suggested as the preferred method for the diagnosis of gallbladder benign tumor.
