Effect comparison between high-temperature thermoplasticized injectable technique and cold lateral condensation in study on sealing ability

  • Objective To compare the effect between high-temperature thermoplasticized injectable technique and cold lateral condensation on sealing ability. Methods 68 fresh vitro teeth were divided into group A (30 teeth),group B (30 teeth),positive group (4 teeth)and negative group (4 teeth).Group A was given high-temperature thermoplasticized injectable technique, group B was given cold lateral condensation technique.A root canal filling time, leakage phenomenon, sealing ability and compliance were compared. Results Root canal filling time and seeping into length of group A were significantly lower than those of group B,while sealing capacity and compli-ance were significantly higher than those of group B (P <0.05).Conclusion High-temperature thermoplasticized injectable technique can reduce the filling time, increase compliance and perform a good sealing effect on root canal.
