Nursing experience of 52 patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing catheter radio frequency ablation therapy

  • Objective To summarize the nursing experience of patients with atrial fibrilla-tion(AF)undergoing catheter radio frequency ablation therapy.Methods Patients with AF were given effective mental guidance before catheter radio frequency ablation therapy and preoperative preparation and nursing cooperation during the operation were given.Meanwhile,close observation and prevention of complications after therapy were conducted.Wound care,activities and dietary guidance and health education when they discharged were given to the patients.Results All pa-tients after radiofrequency ablation therapy recovered and discharged.Conclusion It is important to pay attention to preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative nursing of patients with AF un-dergoing catheter radio frequency ablation therapy.It can effectively reduce all kinds of complica-tions,improve patient’s quality of life and enhance the success rate of operation.
