SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INTRACTABLE EPILESY──A REPORT OF 11 CASES

11 cases with intractable epilepsy were treated surgically form september 1990 to september 1996, of which 4 anterior temporal lobectomy, 3 anterior callosotomy and 4 stereotactic operation- The effectual rate of the operation was 72. 2%. Several aspects such as the selection of the cases with intractable epilepsy, the value of subdura1 electrode in the position of epileptogenic focus before the operation and the surgical method were also discussed.
