Objective To explore the application of daily targeted management combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway in patients with Achilles' tendon rupture.
Methods From June 2019 to June 2021, 60 patients with Achilles' tendon rupture undergoing repair surgery were selected and randomly divided into control group (n=30) and intervention group (n=30). The patients in the control group were given perioperative routine nursing of Achilles'tendon repair, and the intervention group was given rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway combined with daily targeted management. Postoperative pain score, thirst score, swelling time of affectedlimb, incidence of postoperative complications, nursing satisfaction score and average length of hospital stay were compared between the two groups.
Results The postoperative pain score and thirst score of the intervention group were lower than that of the control group, the duration of swelling of the affected limb and the average length of hospital stay were shorter than that of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction score was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence rates of incision infection and muscle atrophy in the intervention group were 3.33%(1/30) and 0, respectively, which were lower than 26.67%(8/30) and 20.00%(6/30) in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Daily targeted management combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway has obvious advantages in perioperative nursing of Achilles' tendon rupture, which can relieve postoperative pain and swelling degree, promote early removal from bed, and reduce incidence rate of complications such as postoperative infection and muscle atrophy. Targeted management of patients is conducive to accurate execution by nurses and can improve patients' participation and nursing quality.
