Objective To establish an intelligent mobile nursing model for perioperative pressure injury (PPI) based on the Munro Scale and observe its clinical application effect.
Methods The Munro Scale was embedded into the mobile terminal pressure injury risk assessment module to build an intelligent mobile nursing model consisting of preoperative visit, intraoperative tour and postoperative managementfor PPI. From October to December 2020, the intelligent mobile nursing model was used in patients undergoing elective surgery. The changes in the incidence of PPI in the hospital before and after application were compared.
Results After the application of intelligent mobile nursing model, the incidence of PPI in patients significantly decreased from 1.77% to 0.74% (χ2=10.079, P=0.002).
Conclusion The perioperative intelligent mobile nursing model based on Munro Scale can realize the unified management of multiple departments such as ward, operating room and anesthesia recovery room, guarantee the continuity of PPI assessment, effectively reduce the risk of PPI in patients, promote the rational allocation of resources, and ensure the standardized development of clinical management.
