Clinical research progresses of postoperative incision itching

  • Incision itching is a kind of itching symptom in the process of surgical incision healing. Scratching reaction will further worsen the wound, induce the problems such as peripheral tissue injury and delayed healing, which will cause negative impacts on the postoperative quality of life and mental health of patients. By searching and analyzing the clinical cases of incision itching, this study summarized the population characteristics, location, duration and degree of incision itching, concludes the current treatment measures for incision itching, and provided reference for the clinical research and treatment of incision itching.
