Objective To observe accuracy of echocardiography combined with electrocardiogram in diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease, and to explore its clinical application value.
Methods A total of 90 patients diagnosed as hypertensive heart disease were selected as research object, and all underwent electrocardiogram and echocardiography. The accuracy of echocardiography, electrocardiogram and their combined diagnosis were compared.
Results The accuracy of combined diagnosis, electrocardiogram and echocardiography was 96.7%, 57.8% and 67.8% respectively. The accuracy of combined diagnosis was higher than that of single examination (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Echocardiography combined with electrocardiogram is a more comprehensive method in diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease. Combined examination can improve the diagnostic accuracy of hypertensive heart disease.
