Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of mometasone furoate combined with montelukastna or loratadine in children with allergic rhinitis, and observe the changes of inflammatory factors after treatment.
Methods A total of 60 children with allergic rhinitis were selected as research objects, and were divided into observation group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases) by using a random number table method. The observation group was treated with mometasone glycanate combined with monasterne, and the control group was treated with mometasone glycanate combined with loratadine, and the usage of mometasone glycanate was the same as the observation group. The treatment effect and changes in the levels of inflammatory factors in the two groups were observed.
Results The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (96.67% versus 73.33%, P < 0.05). The inflammatory factor indexes at 3 months after treatment in both groups were significantly lower than treatment before, and the levels of indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The total incidence of complications during treatment was 16.67% in the observation group and 20.00% in the control group, but no statistical significance was found between two groups (P>0.05).
Conclusion Combination of mometasone sugarate and montelukast sodium has a good clinical effect in the treatment of allergic rhinitis in children, and has better effects on regulation of levels of inflammatory factors.
