Visualization analysis of domestic prone ventilation studies based on CiteSpace

  •   Objective  To explore the hot spots and frontiers of domestic research on prone position ventilation.
Methods  A total of 424 literatures related to prone position ventilation collected from Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)and Wanfang database from 2010 to 2020 were selected as the research objects. co-occurrence analysis was conducted by CiteSpace and relevant knowledge map was drawn.
Results  The number of papers on prone ventilation in China from 2010 to 2020 was 22 to 76 papers per year, showed an increasing trend. Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University published the most papers in this field, and the representative authors were QIU Haibo, ZHANG Zhigang and so on. The high-frequency keywords were "prone position ventilation, prone position, mechanical ventilation, acute respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary dilation, positive end respiratory pressure, oxygenation index, hemodynamics, pulmonary compliance and nursing". The research spots were the mechanism of prone ventilation and the nursing of prone ventilation. The research frontier were respiratory compliance and hypoxemia.
Conclusion  In recent 10 years, the researches on prone position ventilation have been continuously developing in China, but timing, specification and nursing are still lacking. According to the research hotspots and frontier, more studies can be carried out in the future to improve the quality of prone position ventilation.
