Objective To explore the application effect of seamless nursing mode in rescue of children with critical and severe illness in Department of Pediatric Emergency.
Methods Totally 108 children with critical and severeillness in Department of Pediatric Emergency were selected and randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 54 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the experimental group was given seamless nursing mode. The rescue effect and nursing quality were compared between the two groups.
Results In the experimental group, the retention rate in emergency room, the correct rate of rescue behavior and the incidence of adverse events were significantly lower than those in the control group, the success rate of rescue was significantly higher than that in the control group, the score of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), heart rate and systolic blood pressure were significantly lower than those in the control group, and each index of nursing quality and nursing satisfaction degree of children and their families were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Seamless nursing mode can increase the quality of emergency treatment and the success rate of rescue, alleviate the physiological stress of children, and improve the quality of clinical nursing and satisfaction degree of children.
