Application of general movement quality evaluation in project management of high risk children

  • Objective To explore the value of general movements(GMS)in project management of high-risk children. Methods From February 2018 to June 2020, a total of 188 high risk children in the outpatient department of high risk children in Hainan Women and Children's Medical Center were selected as study subjects, and were continuously monitored and followed up to 6 months of age. They were randomly divided into observation group(n=96)and control group(n=92). The observation group received GMS assessment and intervention once a month, while the control group received regular physical examination and routine guidance intervention. At 6 months of age, Peabody motor function was assessed in all high risk children. Results Peabody motor function assessment results of high risk children at 6 months of age showed that the overall motor development quotient of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of GMs assessment in monitoring management of children with high risk can early screen out children with abnormal motor development so as to implement early intervention, improve the follow-up rate, minimize the child disability rate, and improve the physical quality of children.
