Analysis in screening results of colorectal cancer dominated by anorectal specialty in 1 491 people

  • Objective To analyze the feasibility and significance of screening mode of colorectal cancer dominated by anorectal specialty. Methods From July 2015 to October 2019, 1 491 residents with screening of colorectal cancer were selected, and all of them completed the questionnaire survey, fecal occult blood test, colonoscopy and related pathological examinations. The relevant inspection results were analyzed. Results Screening results revealed that there were 699 cases with high-risk colonoscopy and polyps, the positive rate was 46.90%, and age was positively correlated with incidence rate(P<0.05), and the incidence rate of male was significantly higher than that of females(P<0.01). The incidence rate of colorectal cancer was higher in the middle and old aged people in this area. Conclusion The incidence rate of intestinal polyps and cancer is higher in the screening area, and is correlated with age. Colonoscopy is an important method for screening of colorectal cancer, and the comfort and accuracy of colonoscopy have great influence on the screening results. The compliance, quality and feasibility of screening mode dominated by anorectal specialty are high. However, it still need the supervision and evaluation of the third party.
