  • Objective To observe the clinical effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in treating sleep disorders patients with ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 80 patients with sleep disorder after ischemic stroke were divided into western medicine group and combined group, with 40 cases in each group. The western group was treated with diazepam and alprazolam, while the combined group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction and western medicine. Clinical efficacy, total scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI), Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores in the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the combined group was 90.00%, which was significantly higher than 72.50% of the western medicine group(P< 0.05). The total scores of PSQI, its item scores, SAS scores and SDS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the above indicators in the combined group were significantly lower than those of the western medicine group(P< 0.05). Conclusion Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of sleep disorder patients with ischemic stroke has a good clinical effect, which can improve the sleep quality of patients, and relieve anxiety and depression.
