Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of bone injury manipulation of traditional Chinese medicine and Buyang Huanwu Decoction on Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA)score and inflammatory factor levels in patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation who were treated in our hospital were selected as research objects, and divided into control group and study group by random throwing method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated by conventional western medicine, while the study group was given bone injury manipulation of traditional Chinese medicine combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction, and the treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05); before treatment, Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score and JOA score showed no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05); after treatment, the study group had significantly lower VAS score, and significantly higher JOA score than the control group(P<0.05); before treatment, the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and C reactive protein(CRP)showed no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05); after treatment, the levels of IL-6 and CRP in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The bone injury manipulation of traditional Chinese medicine combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction has significant effect in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
