Effect of Xingpi Yanger Granules combined with Chinese herbal paste in night sweating children differentiated as type of heat accumulation in spleen and stomach

Abstract
Objective To explore clinical effect of Xingpi Yanger Granules combined with external application of Chinese herbs on night sweating differentiated as type of heat accumulation in spleen and stomach. Methods Sixty children were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30). The treatment group orally took Xingpi Yanger Granules, and 3 g of Wubeizi, calcined keel and calcined oyster grinding into power mixed with vinegar was applied in Shenque acupoint at the same time. The control group was orally administered calcium gluconate fluid, and vitamin D drops, and the two groups were treated for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy and disappearance time of main symptoms of the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate was 90.00% in the treatment group, and 73.33% in the control group, and the effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group( P<0.05). The difference in disappearance time of clinical symptoms between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Xingpi Yanger Granules combined with traditional Chinese medicine has significant efficacy in treating children with night sweating differentiated as type of heat accumulation in spleen and stomach.
