Nursing risks and management strategies of critical patients in ICU

  • Objective To analyze the nursing risk and management strategies of critical patients in ICU. Methods A total of 92 critical patients in ICU in our hospital were selected. The sources of nursing risks and high-risk factors were analyzed, and management strategies were formulated. Implementation effect of management countermeasures was analyzed. Results After the implementation of management strategies, the incidence rate of nursing adverse events decreased from 8.7% to 1.1%, and the qualified rate of nursing document writing increased from 71.7% to 96.7%. Compared with the score of quality of life before the implementation of management strategy, the scores of physical activity, energy, sleep and emotional response after the implementation of management strategy significantly improved(P<0.05). Conclusion Nursing risk factors for critical patients in ICU should be found and analyzed in time, nursing risk management should be strengthened, and the occurrence of nursing risks should be minimized.
