Effect of cluster nursing on complications in puncture points in patients with myocardial infarction undergoing interventional therapy

  •   Objective  To explore the effect of cluster nursing on complications in puncture points in patients with myocardial infarction undergoing interventional therapy.
Methods  A total of 60 myocardial infarction patients with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) admitted to our department from January to June 2018 were selected as control group, given routine nursing. Another 60 myocardial infarction patients with PCI admitted to our department from July to December 2018 were selected as observation group, given cluster nursing to prevent complications in puncture points. Incidence of complications in puncture points were compared between the two groups.
Results  The hemostasis time and lying time in supine position of the observation group were shorter than that of the control group, and the total incidence of complications in puncture points was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The Kolcaba Comfort Scale scores of the observation group at 6, 12 and 24 hours after operation were higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).
Conclusion  Cluster nursing can prevent complications of puncture points after PCI in myocardial infarction patients and improve the postoperative comfort of patients after PCI.
