Objective To explore the application effect of education assistant App in knowledge push for bronchiectasis patients in Respiratory Department.
Methods A total of 40 patients from July to September 2018 who were admitted to the Respiratory Department in our hospital were as the observation group, given health education by "317 nursing" education assistant App. Another 40 patients from April to June 2018 were as control group, given oral health education and handbooks related to the knowledge of bronchiectasis and precautions. The care satisfaction, awareness of health knowledge, and recurrence rate in the two groups were compared.
Results The nursing satisfaction, awareness of bronchiectasis-related knowledge and family nursing knowledge after discharge in the observation group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 3 months after discharge(P < 0.05).
Conclusion "317 nursing" education assistant App can significantly enhance awareness of common knowledge of bronchiectasis, reduce the recurrence rate after discharge and improve nursing satisfaction.
