Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of intestinal CT by double filling method of large and small intestine in diagnosis of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding (OGIB).
Methods A retrospective study of 40 patients with OGIB admitted to our hospital were performed in our hospital with double-filled intestine CT and capsule endoscopy, and were divided into CT group and endoscopy group. The value of intestine CT imaging of large intestine double filling method were analyzed.
Results The overall detection rate of the CT group was 75.00%, the dominant bleeding rate was 60.0%, the occult bleeding rate was 40.00%, the total lesion detection rate in the endoscopy group was 85.00%. The dominant bleeding rate was 67.65%, and the occult bleeding rate was 32.35%, no significant differences were found in two groups (P>0.05). The sensitivity and specificity of CT group were 61.54% and 85.71%, respectively, and 76.00% and 73.33%, respectively, in the endoscopy group, significant differences were found in two groups (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Intestinal CT angiography with double filling method in double intestine has obvious diagnostic effects on OGIB.
