Effect of superficial circumflex iliac artery free flap repairfor 62 patients with soft tissue defects of dorsal finger

  •   Objective  To observe the application effect of superficial circumflex iliac artery free flap repair for 62 patients with soft tissue defects of dorsal finger.
Methods  A total of 62 patients with soft tissue defects of dorsal finger who were admitted to the hospital underwent superficial circumflex iliac artery free flap repair. The application effect and safety of superficial circumflex iliac artery free flap repair were analyzed.
Results  All flaps of 62 patients were survived after surgery, only 6 cases presented tension vesicle (finally healed after dressing change). The wounds in flap and donor site eventually healed within one week. The average operation time, average hospitalization time and average follow-up time were (56.28±8.52) min, (12.01±4.06) days and (8.02±1.01) months, respectively. After surgery, patients were satisfied with appearance of flaps. After surgery, postoperative finger flexion and extension function grading of patients in this group were significantly improved compared to treatment before(P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions was 17.74%.
Conclusion  The repair effect of superficial circumflex iliac artery free flap repair is satisfactory for patients with soft tissue defects of dorsal finger, which can be a safe and effective treatment Method for these patients.
