Objective To explore the effect of precise management of cotton slices during operation.
Methods Patients who underwent selective neurosurgery from January to December in 2016 were as control group, and those who underwent selective neurosurgery from January to December in 2017 were as observation group, given conventional cotton slice management, and precise cotton slice management, respectively. The incidence of unclear counting of cotton slices of two groups during the operation were compared.
Results There was a significant difference in the incidence of unclear counting of cotton slices before and after the implementation of the precise management method (P < 0.01).
Conclusion The precise management can comprehensively control cotton slices management, reduce the incidence of unclear counting of cotton slices, improve the cooperative quality and ensure the safety of patients.
