Role of metal post dental restoration andprefibrillated pile in oral prosthesis

  •   Objective  To analyze the role of metal post dental restoration and pre-fibrous pile in oral prosthesis.
Methods  A total of 106 patients with oral prosthetics from January 2016 to January 2018 were enrolled in the Department of Stomatology in our department, and were randomly divided into control group (n=53) and observation group (n=53), given metal piles and pre-fibre piles, respectively. The repair effects of the two groups were compared.
Results  The success rate of recovery of observation group was higher than that of the control group (93.06% vs. 78.57%, P < 0.05), the failure rate was lower than that of the control group(6.94% vs. 21.43%, P < 0.05). The tooth loosening rate was 2.78%, which was lower than 14.29% in the control group(P < 0.05). The average repair time of each tooth in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group(P < 0.05).
Conclusion  Compared with metal post dental restoration, pre-fibre piles have a higher success rate of repair and have a significant effect.
