Operative cooperation of acoustic neuromas resection of suboccipital sigmoid sinus approach

ABSTRACT:Objective To investigate operative cooperation of acoustic neuromas resection of suboccipital sigmoid sinus approach.Results Familiar with operation steps,grasping the method of using common equipments and specialized equipment,mastering the cooperative points of suboccipital sigmoid approach of neuromas resection,sufficient preoperative preparation,close cooperation during operation were the key to the success of the operation.Results 12 patients were successful operated,intraoperative cooperation was satisfactory and severe complications didn′t occurred after the operation.Conclusion neuromas resection of suboccipital sigmoid sinus ap-proach is the ideal method to preserve facial nerve and save hearing.Meanwhile,preoperative nurs-ing improves the success rate of operation and reduces the complications.
