  • Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing intervention on psycho-logical state and the quality of life in patients with metabolic syndrome.Methods 150 patients with metabolic syndrome were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 75 cases in each.The control group was given the routine nursing method while the observation group received high quality nursing.Psychological state,understanding ability of social support and the quality of life of two groups of patients were analyzed.Results After the intervention,anxiety score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group and score of self-esteem scale and understanding score of social support in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the results revealed that the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01).Af-ter the intervention,the improvement of indicators of quality of life in observation group was better than that in the control group ,thus ,the difference statistically significant (P < 0 .0 1 or P <0.05).Conclusion High quality nursing has significant effect for patients with the metabolic syn-drome.It can effectively improve the patient’s psychological status and quality of life,so it is wor-thy of clinical application.
