Influence analysis of nursing safety management on rooming-in newborn infection and puerperae satisfaction

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing safety management on rooming-in nursing.Methods 1000 pregnant women and their newborns were divided into control group with 400 patients and the observation group with 600 patients in accordance with time sequence. According to the unsafe factors in the control group,nursing safety management was carried out in the observation group.Neonatal infection rate and satisfaction of puerperae were compared between the two groups.Results The unsafe factors were attributed to ward environment,puerperae and nurses.After the implementation of nursing safety management in the observation group,infec-tions of newborn skin and soft tissue,respiratory tract,conjunctiva decreased,health education, and satisfaction in safety management and technical operation for newborn increased,the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Rooming-in has potential danger,nursing safety management could reduce unsafety factors and infection and improve nursing satisfaction.
