Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical application of surgical lateral position and its influence on the postoperative recovery efficacy in patients with posterior laparoscopic operation in Department of Urological Surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients with surgical lateral position in posterior laparoscopic operation in Department of Urological Surgery were randomly divided into ob-servation group and control group,50 cases for each.Modified surgical lateral position was given to observation group in which adjustable plates were put on the involved upper limbs and orifice plates were fixed on sacrococcygeal and scapular regions respectively, with self-made rectangular neony-chiums (80 cm×25 cm×20 cm)being placed under involved lower limbs, while traditional one to control group in which un-adjustable plates were performed.Satisfactory degrees of physicians and patients as well as postoperative complication rate were observed in both groups. Results Observa-tion group was apparently higher in satisfactory degrees of physicians and patients but were marked-ly lower in the total rate of complications than control group, and the differences were all significant (P <0.01).Conclusion Modified surgical lateral position in posterior laparoscopic operation can improve the satisfactory degree s of physicians and patients, decrease the total rate of complications and promote surgical nursing quality, which deserves to be widely used in clinic.
