Abstract:
Placental accreta spectrum (PAS) is a major cause of uterine rupture during pregnancy, severe postpartum hemorrhage, emergency hysterectomy, and even maternal death. Transabdominal or transvaginal color Doppler ultrasonography is the most commonly used imaging method for PAS. With the development of new ultrasound technologies such as three-dimensional power Doppler, three-dimensional crystal imaging, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound, new ideas have been provided for the diagnosis of PAS. This article reviewed the research progress of prenatal ultrasound diagnosis of PAS.
