Abstract: The positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging system (PET/MRI) is currently the latest hybrid imaging method that combines metabolic data with morphological data, providing more comprehensive information in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. This article reviewed the clinical applications of PET/MRI in diagnosis, staging, treatment response evaluation, and prognosis prediction of breast cancer.
